Hungarian Rába Axle Manufacturing Ltd. and the bus division of GAZ Group signed a general supply agreement for the period of 2007-2010, and according to this the Győr corporated company calculates width a yearly income of 13,1 million EUR from this partner. Rába sales front axle I beams and components on the strategic CIS market, where one of its most important partners still are LiAZ, PAZ, and KAAZ, members of the bus division of GAZ Group.

Rába continues years ago started dynamic growing on the CIS market in this year too. This market representing significant size and having a significant growing potential is still one of the strategic markets of the company. Under the terms of the actually signed long-term agreement in a total value of 67 million EUR width GAZ Group - wich is one of the costumers of high priority - Rába delivers chassis and drive train components, axle-, suspension and steering systems for its partners. The GAZ Group and the Rába Axle Ltd. in point of fact continue their traditional cooperation. Achieving this, the partners agreed to start a joint work team, width the aim of studding thoroughly their cooperation in the axle-development and production.

The background of the year to year growing sales income of Rába is the growing partner circle and the expanding product range. In the period of revival of the traditional relations the company had got successes first of all width the well-known Rába trade-named double reduction bus snd trolley-bus axles, then in the last years the sold product range increased width power machine axles, head assemblies and axles produced for low-floored busses and midi busses delivered on the CIS market. The company plans further growing in these segments too in 2007.

With the already signed contracts in 2007 Rába Axle Ltd. calculates with a turnover of 24 million EUR, which exceeds with 15% the incomes from the CIS market of 2006, and anticipates the continue of a double digit growing - mark of the preceding years.
